Dear Parents,
Parents evening-There are two parents evenings per academic year. One in October, and one in March. We will inform you of the dates for October 2026/March 2027 when scheduled
The meetings will be in person only, we cannot offer video call, and will last 10 minutes.
Appointment will be for one child at one appointment time, with one or both parents attending, we cannot offer separate parent appointments due to scheduling.
Book your appointment via Arbor. You will need an active Arbor account to book your appointment.
When you arrive for your appointment, enter through school office entrance, and go straight to your child's classroom (you do not need to sign in/register), when at the classroom, wait outside the classroom for your appointment to start.
If your appointment starts at 3.30pm, wait outside school office entrance, we will allow you entrance at 3.25pm.
How to Book your appointment on Arbor

Log In: Access the Arbor Parent Portal on a web browser or open the Arbor Parent App on your phone.

Find Guardian Consultations: On the main dashboard, select Guardian Consultations to find the parents' evening event. Choose which day you would prefer.

Select Your Child: If you have more than one child, select the correct child from the list.

Choose a Time Slot: Click on the name of the consultation to open the booking page. You will see a list of available time slots.

Select Guardians: Select the parents who will be attending the meeting, (one or both parents can attend), separate parent appointments are not available.

Book the Slot: Select a time slot and click to book it.

Confirm Booking: A confirmation page will reload, showing your booking is successful, and you will receive an email confirmation.
If you have difficulty booking your appointment or need an Arbor login, email admin@st-jamespri.dgat.org.uk with a day/time preferable to attend, and detail the reason you could not book via Arbor (if there is an error code/message, please take a screenshot so we can identify problem).
