Dear Parents,

Thursday 5 March-World Book Day

World Book day is on Thursday 5 March. Children can wear pyjamas/onesie or dress up as a book character (this is optional) to snuggle up and read a story. Bring in their favourite book to share.

Bring in ‘Book in a Shoe Box’ entry (or "Story in a Box")-This is where children can create a 3D scene from their favourite book inside a decorated shoebox. It involves using craft materials, figures, and scenery to bring a scene to life, showcasing creativity and a love for reading. Your child(ren) would make this at home, and bring in the decorated shoe box on Thursday 5 March. We had lots of lovely entries last year and a guideline is attached to give you an idea of how to create 'Book in a box'.
