Dear Parents/Carers,

 

In April, we will be moving to a new online system called Arbor. The Arbor app and portal will allow parents to see features such as attendance updates and access your child's profile where you can review data information. We will be sending you information about Arbor and how to access your Parent Portal next term.  

 

For Years 3-6, the cost of a school meal from 1 April will be increasing to £2.85, please ensure you have sufficient credit on your dinner money account on Parentpay to cover the cost of meals.

Tuesday 25 March

• Years 1-6-Maths Parent workshop. Parents attend either 2-3pm or 5-6pm.  If you wish to attend 5pm workshop, and you have younger children, a Cinema Room will be open for children 5pm workshop only, NOT 2pm workshop.  If you can attend complete form https://forms.gle/dbcD31qQLme5s2df6

Other Information

• PTA Polytunnel - Volunteers needed on Mondays and Thursdays 12.30-1.30pm during the summer term, to support Mrs Perks (Monday) and Mrs Rocca (Thursday). If you would like to get involved please email stjamesprimarypta@yahoo.com  

• PTA and Project 3580 - Support a Primary School in Sierra Leone https://www.instagram.com/project.3580/ Donations to the Eco Hub of pillow cases, bean bags, sports items, sports day resources, basic medications, plasters, reusable sanitary wear, old glasses/reading glasses and small toys. Deadline: Thu 10 Apr 3pm.

• Fri 21 Mar / PTA Spring Disco Tonight. Infant Disco (6-7.15pm) and Junior Disco (7.30-8.45pm). Book and volunteer online by 1pm www.pta-events.co.uk/stjamespta/ Then pay cash/card on the door. Volunteers desperately needed for the Infant Disco! 

• Move More Mighty Me! Week 3-The focus is on practices and activities to support the development of growth mindset. 

• No clubs run 7-11 April (see clubs letter sent to you for dates clubs running).

• Friday 11 April is last day of term, 2pm pick up. Easter Bonnet Parade 1:40pm, all parents welcome
